Flooding Impact and Government Response

Heavy rainfall has caused rivers to swell beyond their banks, leading to widespread flooding in areas surrounding L’manberg. Fortunately, the Federalist Republic of L'manberg itself has suffered no structural damage.

Effects on L'manberg

The only direct impact within the nation has been a downed tree in Luke Land, which temporarily cut off power to the province. Power restoration efforts are currently underway as of 1:41 PM 2/18/25.

Evacuation of Leadership

Due to rising concerns over the flooding, President James Carter and his family were evacuated from the capital at 10:30 PM on February 16th. They relocated to Buffalo Mountain in Outerlandia, an area completely unaffected by the floodwaters. On February 18th at 8:30 PM, they safely returned to the capital after it was confirmed that the risk had subsided.

Impact on Surrounding Areas

The flooding has severely impacted nearby counties, with Mingo County and Pike County experiencing the worst of it. Several roads have been washed out, making travel difficult and isolating some communities. Many homes and businesses have sustained significant water damage, and local infrastructure is under strain. Emergency responders have been working tirelessly to rescue stranded residents and mitigate further damage.

Numerous families have been displaced as floodwaters have reached unprecedented levels in some low-lying areas. Schools and public buildings in affected regions have been converted into emergency shelters to house those in need.

Government Support

While L’manberg itself has remained largely unscathed, the government is committed to supporting relief and recovery efforts in the affected regions. Our thoughts remain with those who have lost homes and livelihoods due to the disaster.
